Job Description :
Key Areas of Responsibility
Must be able to perform basic computer transactions daily.
Must be able to lift minimum of 30 pounds at any work cell must lift properly.
Must be dependable in reporting to work on time each day.
Must maintain at least “meets minimum performance standard”.
Must be able to communicate with all levels of team members –English proficiency.
Must possess knowledge in preparing written reports.
Must understand importance of 5S and other related policies.
Must follow all safety programs and guidelines.
Must possess ability to read and write English at a level to effectively communicate with all levels of team members.
Must be able to rotate to shifts as directed.
Must perform daily TPM requirements daily.
Must follow OPC guidelines in all work cell/areas.
Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) at the designated work cells as needed
Use rework / scrap tags to identify each defect before set aside for final disposition or to be reworked.
Fill out an End of Line Findings sheet to report all defect findings.
The amount of findings on each hour must be reported on the production board to have a clear understanding on how the work cell is performing.
Set all rework carpets on the designated area and call the rework TM via ANDON to fix the defects.
Inspector must stamp the piece label with their assigned stamp I.D. after verifying and confirming that the carpet passes all quality inspections.
Any other reasonable request deemed necessary by management.
Required Qualifications :
Educational, Training, and/or Experience Requirements
Manufacturing, farm work, cannery or construction or manual labor
Stand on feet for extended periods of time
Stamina or energy to work repetitive, standardized work
Willingness to work required long hours (up to 12 per day on occasion) 6 days a week periodically Lift up to 25 lbs. continually without assistance and up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
Fast pace
Moving product anywhere from 25 – 50 lbs. continually
Understand, read, write, speak English
Punctual Attendance is a must
